When it comes to running a business online, it’s not just about the social media posts that you put out. It’s about your entire brand too. People who see your posts online may not even engage with it, but still form an impression on your business based on how your it looks.
Clients should take a journey within your online presence.
It should lead them from your post, to your profile, to the link in your bio, to your website and to the ‘buy now’ or ‘book now’ button.
Think of your brand like it’s a person. What’s it’s personality? What does it look like? What does it sound like? How does it dress? It’s interesting because how can a person decide what to wear if they don’t have a brain? It’s the same for your brand. How can you make an actual decision on how your brand looks if you’ve done no strategic planning. You don’t have your brand brain, and you need it.
Imagine your brand has a brain that’s split into four lobes.
The frontal, responsible for your brand’s personality and what makes your brand unique. The temporal, your brand’s voice that not only speaks to your audience but sticks with them. The occipital, how your brand looks visually and ensuring it grabs attention and forms a really solid first impression. And finally, the parietal, how your brand exists in the online space and the content you share to draw people in.
It’s as simple as that. Nail those four things, and you’ll have people banging down your digital door.
Luckily, I’ve got a workshop all about this, and it’s only £9
